TF-CBT 2-Day Training

2-Day Basic TF-CBT Training Sept. 28 & 29, 2017
The EPISCenter is pleased to organize this training opportunity on behalf of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. This live, two-day training, which will be led by one of the developers of TF-CBT, provides an introduction to the model. It is a required component of the training process for TF-CBT certification. Registration details can be found at the bottom of this page.
Dates: Sept. 28 & 29, 2017 **Participants must attend both days**
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Check-in will begin at 8:00 AM)
Location: Camp Hill, PA (Radisson Hotel Harrisburg, 1150 Camp Hill Bypass, Camp Hill, PA 17011)

To be eligible for the training, therapists must:
(1) Have a graduate degree in a mental health field or be currently enrolled in such a graduate program. Bachelor-level staff and non-clinical staff are not eligible to attend.
(2) Complete the on-line TF-CBTWeb training (10 hours). You will be asked to provide a copy of your completion certificate when arrive at the Basic Training.
Cost: The cost is $200 per person. This includes the training fee, training materials, and a light breakfast and snack on both days.
Continuing Education: NASW-PA Chapter is a co-sponsor of this workshop. 12 CEs will be awarded for completion of this course. NASW has been designated as a pre-approved provider of professional continuing education for Social Workers (Section 47.36), Marriage and Family Therapists (Section 48.36), and Professional Counselors (Section 49.36) by the PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors. Participants will be responsible for submitting a form and payment to NASW-PA after the training to obtain the CE Credits and certificate ($15 for NASW members, $25 for non-members).
Consultation: Participants at the 2-Day Training will have the opportunity to sign up for consultation calls, which will begin several weeks after the training and are a required part of the certification process. The cost of consultation is not included in the cost of this training.
Accommodations: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Radisson Hotel Harrisburg at a rate of $103 per night. Please call the hotel directly at (717) 763-7117 if you wish to make a reservation with the block rate. The deadline for reserving under the block is August 29. There are also several other hotels in Camp Hill and the surrounding area.
Meals: A light continental breakfast with juice and coffee is included, along with a mid-afternoon snack break. Lunch is on your own. There is a restaurant on-site at the training venue, as well as several options within walking distance (e.g., Perkins, Arooga’s, McDonald’s, Subway).

Complete the on-line registration form. Once the form is complete, you will receive an email containing an invoice for the training and payment information.
