This two-day training offers an introduction to Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based model for treating children 3 – 18 who are experiencing posttraumatic symptoms. Prerequisites: To be eligible for the training, therapists must:
1) Have a graduate degree in a mental health field or be currently enrolled in a graduate program.
2) Complete the 10-hour TF-CBTWeb training, available at https://tfcbt.musc.edu/ and bring a copy of the completion certificate to the April training.
TF-CBT Consultation: Participants will be able to register for a TF-CBT Consultation Group, required for certification. (Additional cost)
