Presented by Heather Risk, PsyD: An Approved National TF-CBT Trainer
TF-CBT is an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents (ages 3-18) who are experiencing negative impacts
following any type of traumatic event. Through this training, therapists will learn how to implement the model with fidelity and how to know who is appropriate for this treatment. This training includes an overview of trauma-informed assessments and time to discuss clinical challenges. There will be opportunities for consultation regarding actual cases, to
discuss challenges, and to share successes as children and families progress through the healing process. Also included in the price are 12 group consultation calls (1 hour each). These are steps that are required to provide TF-CBT and to become a Certified TF-CBT Therapist. This training is for licensed mental health therapists who intend to complete all of the required steps (see prerequisites and requirements when you follow the registration link). This link will also direct you to additional requirements due to the virtual format of this training to be aware of. Participants must have a masters degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. Graduate students in these programs or those working toward their license in these fields may be able to attend if they are receiving supervision from a licensed mental health professional.

TF-CBT Consultation Calls:
The price for the consultation calls are included for those that register for this training. If you have completed TF-CBT within the last 2 years and need to complete the calls only, you can apply at the site below. Cost is $225 for a full set of calls.
